December 2019 Update

From 2020, this Helpdesk is for KCT admin only. Because I am creating a new Public Helpdesk as part of Keith's Learners. During the transition, I will clarify how my new learning support helpdesk works. In the meantime, I've left the original text below. So if you want advance notice of changes, please subscribe to my free learners list.


The primary purpose of this Helpdesk is to provide help for people to use forums within my KeČaTa Community. Because I provide support in public in the following forums:


So when you use this Helpdesk, please make it clear which forum you are trying to access. Also, describe the exact problem you are experiencing. For example, if you see an error message, please quote that message in full. Where possible, you should attach a screenshot of your problem.


The secondary purpose of this Helpdesk is to provide a channel for private communications with Keith Taylor. But you should realize that I always prefer to discuss things in public, except where the subject matter needs to be confidential. So you should make it clear what part of your message is private, and why I should not share it. Because I normally answer unsolicited emails by posting them and responding to them on my most appropriate forum. For more information, read Contact Keith Taylor.
